The residents of these areas are suffering from mental distress due to the prolonged power outages. In several areas of Karachi, electricity supply has remained absent for 10 hours or more. In Manghopir, Sirjan Town, Sohrab Goth, Baldia Town, and Malir, the power outages have made life unbearable.
Unscheduled power outages are also being observed in several areas of Karachi, including the affluent regions. The frequent power outages have left students preparing for their matric and intermediate exams in a state of anxiety.
