Gulf Air Announces Resumption of Flight Operations in Pakistan
Gulf Air has announced the resumption of its flight operations in Pakistan from today, March 6, for three major airports, including Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad. According to the airline, a total of 50 stations worldwide will see the resumption of flights today, including those to Europe, the UK, and central Asian countries, including India.
The decision comes as tensions in the Middle East ease, despite the possibility of a 30-50 rupee per liter increase in petrol and diesel prices. Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Hina Rabbani Khar, has spoken with her Iranian counterpart, Abbas Araghchi, to discuss the ongoing tensions.
