In a major crackdown, Islamabad Police and other units have arrested 86 Afghan nationals and 4 suspects involved in organized crime and gangs. The operation, which covered multiple districts, including the capital Islamabad, resulted in the seizure of several motorbikes, cash, mobile phones, and ammunition used in the commission of crimes.
The Islamabad Police operation was part of a broader effort to tackle organized crime and gangs in the city. The police have also arrested several women who were heading to the Women’s March in Islamabad.
In a separate development, Sindh Chief Minister’s Advisor, Murtaza Wahab, announced that the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation will complete the construction of the Azam Pora Flyover within 100 days.
