Pakistan’s security forces thwarted an attempt by a group of 3-4 foreign-backed militants to infiltrate the country’s border area in the Chaman sector. According to security sources, the Pakistan Army has been conducting operations to protect the border and prevent infiltration.
A security official confirmed that the deceased Afghan Taliban commander was from Jalalabad. During the exchange of fire, one foreign terrorist was killed, while others were injured and managed to escape. The security forces successfully targeted the infiltrators, who were attempting to cut the border fence.
The security forces also recovered 4-5 IEDs and equipment from the infiltrators. The Pakistan Army has been conducting operations to protect the border and prevent infiltration.
In Islamabad, some women who were planning to participate in an ‘Aurat March’ were detained by the police. Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab announced that the city’s flyover project in the Azam Town area would be completed within 100 days.
PTI leader Salman Akram Raja stated that women have made the greatest sacrifices for the party, and they are being targeted. He said that brave women are facing harassment.
