Pakistan has recorded the highest petroleum prices in the region, with a litre of petrol priced at $1.15, according to sources in the Ministry of Petroleum in Islamabad. Foreign news agencies report that India is witnessing an increase in fuel reserves, with the possibility of purchasing LNG from Russia. In comparison, the price of petrol in India is equivalent to $1.03 per litre. Similarly, Sri Lanka has a price of 94 cents per litre, while Bangladesh has a price of 95 cents per litre. It is worth noting that on March 6, a significant increase of 55 rupees per litre was made in the prices of petrol and diesel in Pakistan.
