Pakistan’s military operations, codenamed Operation Ghazab, continued against key Taliban and militant targets, including Fidayeen-e-Khawarij and Fidayeen-e-Hindustan, under the banner of Haq. According to security sources, Pakistan’s military has destroyed 50 militant hideouts in the operation, which was conducted on the night of March 3-4 with heavy artillery.
The operation has targeted key areas such as Killa Saifullah, Chamman, Sambazah, Ghadawana, Jani, and Ghazani sectors, which were being used by militant groups to launch attacks from across the border. Pakistan has successfully targeted Afghanistan’s key Bagram Airbase under Operation Ghazab, causing significant losses to the Afghan Taliban, Fidayeen-e-Khawarij, and Fidayeen-e-Hindustan.
The operation has resulted in significant casualties and financial losses for the militant groups. Security sources claim that Pakistan’s military is resolute in protecting national sovereignty and citizens’ rights.
Meanwhile, the country has seen a surge in electricity prices, with a single unit now costing Rs 1.63 in a bid to meet the increasing demand. Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has been granted permission to operate two daily flights to the UAE. Field Marshal attended a security briefing on the western border, where he was briefed on Operation Ghazab.
