The Government of Pakistan has set a target for the rollout of 5G technology by 2025, aiming to provide speeds of up to 100 Mbps. Minister for IT, Amin Ul Haque, announced that this initiative will enhance connectivity across the country and facilitate the adoption of next-generation technologies.
Amin Ul Haque emphasized that the introduction of 5G will not only boost industrial growth but also improve the quality of digital services for consumers. With this advancement, sectors such as education, healthcare, and business are expected to see substantial improvements.
The Minister further noted that efforts are underway to meet this target, ensuring that Pakistan becomes a hub for modern and efficient digital infrastructure.
