The latest report on the death of disgraced financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein has made a shocking claim. According to The New York Times, a former cellmate of Epstein, Nicholas Tartaglione, has come forward with an alleged suicide note attributed to Epstein. The note, which is said to be inside a graphic novel, contains a poignant message: “What do you want to do to me? Do you want to make me laugh? It’s time to say goodbye.”
The report claims that the note was discovered after Epstein’s death, when his body was found in his cell at the New York City jail. Prior to his death, Epstein had denied allegations of attempted suicide and attributed the ligature marks on his neck to a cellmate’s attack. Following his death, Epstein was moved to a separate cell, where his body was found.
The alleged suicide note has been in the possession of the court but has not been released to the public. Tartaglione reportedly handed the note over to his lawyer, who later presented it in court. The note remains under wraps, despite a request to release it in the public domain.
Epstein’s alleged crimes, including the sex trafficking and exploitation of underage girls, have been widely condemned. His partner in crime is currently serving a 20-year sentence.
