Iran has revealed the latest details of its proposed peace plan for the Middle East, which includes a three-stage process to end the ongoing conflict. According to Arab media reports, the plan involves a ceasefire that will be converted into a full-fledged end to the war within 30 days, with the participation of the United States, Iran, and other regional players.
The Iranian Foreign Ministry has confirmed that the US has responded positively to Tehran’s 14-point proposal, which includes a non-aggression pact between Iran and the US, as well as Israel. The plan also calls for an end to hostilities and the establishment of a common security system in the Middle East.
The first stage of the plan includes the gradual opening of the Strait of Hormuz and the lifting of the US naval blockade of Iranian ports. German Foreign Minister has called for Iran to renounce its nuclear program entirely. The report also mentions that Iran will be responsible for clearing the naval mines in the Strait of Hormuz, and that it will be allowed to enrich uranium to 3.06% under the Zero Enrichment Principle.
The plan also stipulates that the US and Israel will refrain from attacking Iran and its allies, in exchange for Iran’s commitment to refrain from launching attacks. The report also states that the destruction of Iran’s nuclear infrastructure or facilities will be rejected.
The third stage of the plan involves strategic dialogue between Iran and its Arab and neighboring countries, with the aim of establishing a common security system in the Middle East. A new map has been drawn, with a clear line between Iran’s mountainous region of Koh-e-Mobarak and the UAE’s Fajirah in the southern region.
Despite the announcement of the US plan to extract its stranded ships from the Strait of Hormuz, the global oil prices have remained stable, with no significant drop in prices. In a separate incident, a woman from Skikar was killed by her uncle, who had taken her custody from the court.
The US Central Command has claimed that two American ships have been extracted from the Strait of Hormuz. The UAE has condemned the Iranian drone attack. US President Donald Trump has claimed that Iran’s Navy, Air Force, and Air Defense have been completely destroyed. Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps spokesperson Brigadier General Hussein Mobbi has stated that any vessels violating the Iranian control in the Strait of Hormuz will be deterred by force.
