Karachi’s Police Nab Thieves in Saddar Area After High-Profile Heist

The owner claimed that when he opened the shop the next morning at 5:00 am, he found that the thieves had made off with the loot, leaving behind no signs of forced entry or exit.
The CCTV footage of the incident has been recovered, and the police have registered a case against the suspects under the charges of theft. The owner of the snack bar has accused the security guard of being involved in the heist, citing suspicious behavior.
In a statement, DIG South Asad Reza said that the main accused and his two accomplices were caught in Jhang, Punjab, and a significant amount of stolen gold and silver was recovered from their possession. The police claimed that the suspects had been living in Karachi’s Lyari neighborhood before the heist.
