The Lahore High Court Bar Association has filed a petition in the Supreme Court through Hamid Khan. A special division bench for tax cases has been formed with Justice Sardar Asif Iqbal and Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir. Justice Muhammad Asif will be part of two different divisional benches along with two other judges, while Justice Muhammad Asif will hear cases in the criminal and other divisional benches.
The first divisional bench will be headed by Chief Justice Sardar Muhammad Sarfraz Dogar and Justice Muhammad Asif, while the second divisional bench will consist of Justice Sardar Asif Iqbal and Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir. The third divisional bench will comprise Justice Khadim Hussain Somroo and Justice Muhammad Asif, and the fourth divisional bench will be headed by Justice Muhammad Azam Khan and Justice Raja Inam Amin Manhas.
