A tense standoff between police officials and a young man has been reported in Karachi’s Defence Area during a routine check. According to the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) South, the police stopped a car with a government-issued number plate, and the youth inside the vehicle allegedly misbehaved and resisted the police officers.
The DIG South stated that the car in question had two private guards on board, and the incident took place within the limits of the Defence Police Station. The police have initiated an investigation into the matter.
On the occasion of the first anniversary of the great victory of the founding fathers, a ceremony was held in Islamabad. According to the police officials, the government car with a government-issued number plate, which was being used by the accused, has been taken into custody. The police have also initiated a prosecution against the guards present in the vehicle.
