Pakistan’s National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has emphasized the importance of unity between the country’s political and military leadership, stating that it is the guarantee of Pakistan’s strength. Speaking at a road inauguration ceremony in Lahore, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said that bringing Iran to the negotiating table was no more than a miracle, and that Pakistan’s mediation efforts had been appreciated by every nation. He praised the current leadership for not only pulling the country out of an economic crisis but also restoring Pakistan’s positive image on the global stage.
Sardar Ayaz Sadiq further stated that Pakistan played a crucial role in diplomacy during the recent global crisis, contributing to preventing a major war. He claimed that since 2022, the country has been on the right track, and difficult decisions have been made to stabilize the economy. He reiterated that unity between the political and military leadership is the guarantee of Pakistan’s strength.
He also stated that Pakistan’s prestige and dignity rose after defeating India, and for the first time in history, no country stood with India against Pakistan. The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has seized 1.45 billion Iranian Rials from a suspect arrested in Karachi. A telephonic conversation between the Deputy Prime Minister, Asad Umar, and Iranian Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, has been reported.
