The investigation officer has recommended to the Deputy Director of the National Counter Terrorism Authority (NACTA) to remove the name of the accused, Nadeem Mubarak, from the passport control list. According to the investigation officer, Nadeem’s name was added to the list due to his initial refusal to cooperate with the investigation, but after being granted bail, he joined the investigation and presented his case. Nadeem Mubarak, a TikTok star, and YouTuber Rizwan Bhatt, have approached the Islamabad High Court. The investigation officer stated that Nadeem has been found innocent in the investigation and there is no objection to removing his name from the passport control list. NACTA has filed a case against Nadeem and other individuals, but Nadeem has obtained interim bail from the Lahore Sessions Court.
Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister, Faisal bin Farhan, has arrived at the Prime Minister’s House to meet Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
