The power supply was interrupted in several areas, including Kiamari, Clifton Block 5, Scheme 33, Malir Cantonment, Gulistan-e-Johar Block 41-A, Tipu Sultan, and Karachi Revenue Society.
According to the spokesperson for KE (Karachi Electric), it is essential to exercise caution when using electrical appliances during high winds and heavy rain. Using electrical appliances near water or standing water can be hazardous and lead to accidents.
The spokesperson advised citizens to maintain a safe distance from power installations, refrain from using unauthorized sources of electricity, and avoid damaged cables and wires, as they can be life-threatening.
