Pakistani military forces conducted successful airstrikes on militant targets in Afghanistan under Operation Ghazb al-Haq, which resulted in the destruction of several military installations in Kabul and Nangarhar provinces that were involved in terrorist activities. According to Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Ataullah Tarar, two locations in Kabul were targeted, destroying technical support infrastructure and arms depots. The explosions that followed the airstrikes clearly indicate the presence of large arms depots in the area.
The federal minister further stated that Pakistani forces also targeted four military installations in Nangarhar that were providing support to terrorist groups, along with logistics, arms, and technical infrastructure, which were all destroyed. In a statement, the Pakistani forces claimed that the targeted installations were being used by various terrorist groups for their support, and the Taliban government’s false claims would not deceive the Afghan people or the world.
Ataullah Tarar said that operations under Operation Ghazb al-Haq would continue until the objectives are achieved. In other news, a hearing was held in the Islamabad High Court, where a request for bail was rejected for the leader of the Lyari gang, Uzair Baloch. The federal minister has also announced that a phone call would be made to the children of PTI founder Imran Khan on Eid-ul-Fitr.
