A mother grieving the violent death of her daughter is now fighting for custody of her grandchild. 23-year-old Tacara Reese-Windom was shot and killed in Dallas last week with her five-month-old child in the car. Dallas Police said the murder happened at the 500 block of South Carroll Avenue. A family trip to Fossil Rim Wildlife Center in Glen Rose turned into a heart-stopping experience when a giraffe grabbed hold of a child. Texas-based grocer H-E-B says they’ll open their highly-anticipated Mansfield store later this month. The company said in a statement Thursday that the doors will open to the public at 6 a.m. Wednesday, June 26. Dallas police arrested a former private school teacher after an investigation into allegations of child sexual assault that lasted over a year. Police now say there could be more victims. The Dallas Police Child Exploitation Squad said they issued an arrest warrant for 46-year-old Matthew Harmon who had been accused of sexual assault of a child.
