The Sindh High Court has declared the order of blocking identification cards null and void. Justice Muhammad Hassan Akbar issued a written order on a request to review the order blocking identification cards in a financial dispute case, stating that blocking identification cards is illegal and a violation of basic rights. The court believes that there is no provision in any law to block identification cards, as the Supreme Court has already made it clear that there is no provision for blocking identification cards, and there is no basis for blocking identification cards under the Criminal Procedure Code. The Pakistan Sugar Mills filed a petition in the Federal Constitutional Court in Islamabad to obtain export subsidies.
