Pakistani Islamic Party Ameer Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman has stated that America’s approach of showing friendship and enmity simultaneously is incorrect. While addressing a press conference in Lahore, he stated that people are starting to step out of America’s influence, and it’s essential to remove the “slave’s attire” of American subservience.
Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman emphasized that any action taken in Pakistan’s best interest will be supported by them. He added that Pakistan currently needs a trustworthy leadership. The Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman further stated that the increase in prices will not only burden the middle class but also the poor, resulting in their downfall. He also said that the government is unwilling to reduce its privileges to control inflation, and instead, it’s increasing the benefits for the favored class.
The Islamic Party leader also criticized the government for imposing an unlawful tax on motorcyclists, stating that the government should immediately abolish the tax on petrol. A recent audit report has revealed the unauthorized withdrawal of 4.6 billion rupees in the form of a signature bonus.
