Karachi, Pakistan – The Karachi Intermediate Board has announced the commencement of its 11th and 12th-grade exams starting today. The exams will be conducted in two shifts, with 103 centers in the morning and 42 in the evening. A total of 1,59,572 students are expected to participate in the exams, which are being held under the supervision of high-profile officials.
According to the chairman of the Karachi Intermediate Board, Faqir Muhammad Lakho, this year’s exams will include students from pre-engineering, pre-medical, home economics, and general groups. The exams will be conducted using digital attendance applications, which will enable real-time monitoring and ensure the security of the exams.
To prevent leaks, the board has taken stringent security measures, including the prohibition of photography shops near exam centers and the restriction on non-relevant individuals from entering the premises. The board has also issued a warning to electric companies against overloading during the exams.
Meanwhile, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has issued a statement regarding the audit objections related to the unauthorized receipt of a Rs. 4,060 crore bonus. The Ministry of Law and Justice has stated that the notification will be issued after receiving approval from the President.
