Pakistani security forces have successfully thwarted a terrorist attack in the Dhadar tehsil of Kech district in Balochistan. According to a statement by Babar Yousafzai, the Adviser to the Chief Minister for Home Affairs, several terrorists affiliated with the banned outfit Fidayeen-e-Islam were killed in the operation. He also confirmed that a brave young officer lost his life in the operation. The security forces have launched a clearance and search operation in the area.
In a related development, the administration has announced that all bus stations in the region have been reopened, except for the Faizabad terminal, which will remain closed until further notice. The Prime Minister has said that the visit has also focused on bilateral cooperation, including the promotion of Pakistan-Iran relations.
In a separate statement, Zulfikar Bhutto Jr., the son of Shahid Moinuddin Bhutto, has stated that he is not a hypocrite like other politicians. According to sources, the Iranian delegation will visit Muscat and Moscow.
