Punjab province witnessed a crucial meeting of the Muslim League (N) party led by its president, Nawaz Sharif, and Punjab Chief Minister, Maryam Nawaz. During the meeting, the party approved the Kotli Sattian Sky Glass Project and decided to seek the services of international experts to address land sliding issues. The party also issued directives to restore the affected areas of Chitta Mora, Darra Gali, Bansa Gali, Nall and Jheeka Gali. The meeting also called for the establishment of hospital zones in Shalala, Suzzo, and Berroori, and the construction of five-star hotels with the assistance of the private sector. Moreover, the meeting instructed the immediate removal of debris from buildings that were damaged due to inundation.
Furthermore, the party decided to increase the width of streets including the Richmond Road by 10 feet. The meeting also reviewed plans for the establishment of three new parks, including the Anguri Road Park, the MIT Park, and the Ariya Park. During the briefing, it was revealed that the Bansa Gali Zoo, Eco Zone, and modern conference rooms would be established in Bansa Gali. The briefing also stated that the water supply scheme of Dhar Jawa and Donga Gali has been completed.
The meeting also approved the establishment of a modern glamping village in Choa Galli, entrusted its management to the private sector, and approved the Para Gliding Club project in Choa. The meeting also reviewed plans for the Chairlift, Punjab House, and other projects. Additionally, the party directed the completion of the feasibility report of the water supply scheme from River Jehlum by April 30, and the establishment of the first Financial Management Unit in Punjab.
