In a shocking incident, renowned South Indian actress Trisha Krishnan has received a bomb threat at her residence in Chennai, southern India. According to reports, the Tamil Nadu Directorate General of Police (DGP) Control Room received an email claiming that a bomb had been planted at Trisha’s residence and that of Bangladesh’s Deputy High Commissioner in the city. Following the email, police conducted a search operation at both locations, involving the bomb disposal squad and other agencies. However, a thorough search revealed that the threat was a hoax.
Trisha, a 43-year-old actress known for her high salary, is not the first celebrity to receive such threats in the city. Recently, senior actors Rajinikanth and Dhanush’s homes were also targeted by similar hoax threats. In the past few days, the Chennai DGP office has received multiple emails with bomb threats, targeting several prominent personalities.
The police are conducting further investigations into the matter.
