While on a trip to the Vishnu Devi Temple, Kumar contracted a severe illness and fell unconscious. However, Kumar’s mother refused to leave the temple, saying that if Mata Rani had given her a son, she could take him back, but she wouldn’t leave the temple unfinished.
Kumar’s parents carried him to the temple, where they prayed and pleaded with the goddess. As they were in a state of distress, an unknown person approached Kumar’s father and complimented him on his son’s charming smile, which was a sign of his recovery. Kumar then regained consciousness, and his fever subsided. According to Kumar, this was a spiritual experience that he would never forget.
