Karachi, Pakistan – In a significant breakthrough, the Rangers have apprehended a notorious terrorist, who allegedly organized groups for terrorist activities in the city. According to the Rangers’ spokesperson, the law enforcement agency, in collaboration with the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD), conducted an operation in the SITE area and arrested the wanted terrorist, identified as Noor Alam, also known as Wafadar.
The arrested terrorist is reportedly linked to the Fidayeen-e-Khawri group and was found in possession of arms and explosives. Noor Alam was a member of the Fidayeen-e-Khawri group, led by Mufti Noor Wali, in 2014. The terrorist was also involved in attacks on security checkposts in South Waziristan.
Following his arrest, Noor Alam confessed to having attacked a Levies checkpost in 2021, where six Levies personnel were abducted, and two of his accomplices were killed in a retaliatory operation. The terrorist also admitted to laying several IEDs on the security forces’ route in Waziristan.
According to the Rangers’ spokesperson, the arrested terrorist is a resident of South Waziristan and had been absconding in Karachi for some time, where he was planning to organize groups for terrorist activities in the city.
In related news, a resident of Korangi Shah Faisal Flyover area of Karachi shared the details of a traffic jam incident. Sardar Alauddin, a leader of the opposition in the Senate, said that the United States had believed that it would capture Iran after the assassination of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner Islamabad expressed hope that the US and Iran would maintain a positive stance. Iranian Parliament Speaker, Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, Foreign Minister, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, and other high-level officials of the Iranian delegation have returned to Tehran.
The Human Rights Council of Pakistan (HRCP) welcomed Pakistan’s initiative for negotiations between the US and Iran. A citizen, who wished to remain anonymous, shared the details of a road closure incident in Islamabad.
In a separate incident, a girl who went missing from the SITE area was recovered from the Drug Road area of Karachi. The suspect was working as a pharmacy lecturer at a private medical college.
A student from the Baldia Town area, who had gone missing, was recovered from the Civil Hospital. Manzoor Zafar Khan, a political analyst, said that the PPP had made similar promises 18 years ago, including improving the sewage system and providing clean water.
Deputy Commissioner Islamabad said that all shops, markets, and commercial activities would remain open. Senior police officers are also present in the field and are overseeing the security arrangements.
In a separate incident, residents of North Waziristan are forced to cross the river using a rope bridge due to the recent floods. A school in Jhang, built in 2014, has yet to start classes for girls.
Karachi recorded a minimum temperature of 23.3 degrees Celsius today. Donald Trump stated that his meeting with Iran had begun and lasted for nearly 20 hours. On social media, Trump said that the only point of disagreement was Iran’s nuclear program.
In a separate incident, the details of a traffic jam in the Korangi Shah Faisal Flyover area of Karachi came to light.
