During a telephonic conversation with the Prime Minister of Lebanon, Najib Mikati, Sharif expressed his deepest condolences over the loss of precious lives in the Israeli attacks and reiterated Pakistan’s full support for Lebanon’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Both leaders expressed concern over the escalating tensions in the region and discussed the regional situation following the Israeli attacks on Iran. They emphasized the need for an immediate ceasefire and de-escalation.
