Pakistan’s ruling government has been at the center of controversy over reports of a potential deal with the opposition party, PTI. However, PM’s Advisor on Political Affairs, Senator Rana Sanaullah, has rejected these claims, stating that no offer was extended to PTI and that there is no deal option on the table.
Speaking during a segment of Geo News program, “Jirga,” Rana Sanaullah emphasized that the founder of PTI was neither offered a deal by the government nor the establishment, and there is no such deal in place. He further stated that any decision regarding the PTI leader’s sentences will be made in the courts, similar to the cases of Nawaz Sharif and Asif Ali Zardari.

He added that the export of terrorism from Afghanistan has been ongoing for a long time.
Meanwhile, leaders of the opposition alliance, Movement for the Protection of Pakistan’s Constitution, addressed a news conference in Islamabad. PTI leader and former Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Finance Minister, Imran Khan, criticized the government’s claims of economic improvement, calling them baseless. Khawaja Asif described the ongoing situation as a crucial turning point, emphasizing that the country needs to make a decision.
Hafeez Ullah Niazi said that the Afghan government’s failure to curb terrorism will result in a response from Pakistan. He emphasized that the country cannot afford to be vulnerable to terrorism. The opposition leaders expressed their commitment to peace and stability.
