Karachi, Pakistan – In a shocking turn of events, the owner of the building that collapsed in Karachi’s Soldier Bazaar area after a gas leak explosion has been arrested. The police have registered a case against him under various sections, including murder, property damage, negligence, and dereliction of duty.
According to the police, the case has been registered under the government’s supervision and includes charges related to the explosion that led to the collapse of the building, resulting in the deaths of 16 people and injuring 14 others.
In a related development, a CCTV footage of the explosion has surfaced, showing the devastating aftermath of the incident. The building collapsed at 3:47 am, causing widespread destruction in the area.
