According to foreign media reports, Hamas has outlined clear conditions for countries that have agreed to send peace forces to Gaza. Hamas has also clarified that it does not object to the presence of an international force in Gaza if it serves as a buffer zone between the parties.
Twenty-five countries have joined the Board of Peace in Gaza, with US President Donald Trump serving as chairman. Hamas spokesperson Basim Naim stated that interfering in Palestine’s internal affairs is unacceptable, and international officials who meddle in the situation will be seen as alternatives to the occupying forces.
Hamas’s position is that the international force should maintain a neutral stance and ensure a ceasefire between the parties. Indonesia has expressed its readiness to send 8,000 personnel to the international peace force.
