The White House has confirmed that US Vice President Joe Biden will observe the nuclear talks between Iran and Islamabad from the United States. White House Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt stated in an interview with an American news channel that Secretary of State Steve Witkoff and Special Adviser Jared Kushner will depart for Pakistan on Sunday to engage in nuclear talks with Iran. This development comes as the US delegation is expected to depart from Washington for Islamabad.
According to Leavitt, Iran initiated contact and requested a bilateral meeting. The White House has reportedly prepared a standby arrangement for any required contingencies. Leavitt added that Pakistan has been an outstanding mediator in the nuclear talks process between Iran and the US.
