The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Peshawar has been presented with a report from NADRA to confirm the suspects in the Radio Pakistan attack case. ATC Judge Wali Muhammad Khan heard the case on May 9 and the police presented a report related to the suspects. According to the report, the videos and identity card profile pictures of Shahil Afridi, Kamran Bangash, Timur Salim Jhangra, Ameer Chachni, and Arfan Salim matched.
Pursuant to the prosecution, on May 9, 2023, the agitated protesters attacked the Radio Pakistan building and set the building on fire. A charge sheet was lodged against around 80 suspects at the Eastern Police Station. Several members of the provincial assembly, including a provincial minister, are named in the case. The court has adjourned the case until February 14.
