The Ministry of Religious Affairs has announced an extension in the booking deadline for the Private Hajj Scheme 2026, allowing more intending pilgrims to complete their applications under the government-approved policy.
According to an official statement, the new deadline has been set for October 22, 2025, following formal approval from the Secretary of Religious Affairs. The ministry stated that the decision was taken to facilitate pilgrims and Hajj organizers who required additional time to finalize their arrangements.
Instructions have been issued to all Hajj organizers and Designated Hajj Companies (DHCs) to complete the booking process within the revised timeline in accordance with the Hajj Policy 2026 and the Service Provider Agreement.
The ministry reiterated its commitment to ensuring a transparent, efficient, and convenient system for all pilgrims, enabling them to perform the sacred journey with ease and peace of mind.
The extension has been widely welcomed by intending pilgrims, many of whom said the decision would help those facing financial or documentation delays to secure their Hajj bookings in time.
