Rise in Terrorism
Since the Taliban’s return to power in Afghanistan in 2021, there has been a surge in violent attacks, especially in KP and Balochistan.
In 2024, Pakistan recorded 1,166 terror-related incidents, leading to 2,546 fatalities and 2,267 injuries.
These figures represent a nine-year high, marking a grim year for the nation’s security landscape.
