Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Advisor Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif has announced that a convoy heading to Kurram district has been temporarily halted due to security concerns.
He assured that the convoy would proceed once the route is cleared.
Barrister Saif emphasized that under the Grand Jirga agreement, peace in Kurram would be maintained at all costs, and those trying to disrupt harmony would face strict action.
Referring to a recent attack on the Deputy Commissioner, he called it a failed conspiracy to destabilize peace in the district.

He further explained that the convoy of trucks traveling from Tal to Kurram was stopped as a precautionary measure, adding that the route would soon be cleared to ensure the convoy’s safe passage.
This development comes amid ongoing efforts to address security challenges in the region and reinforce stability in Kurram.
