Meteorological Department Advises Residents to Prepare for More Rain
A light drizzle has heightened the cold in Lahore, with intermittent rain showers expected to persist throughout the day, according to the Meteorological Department.
The weather shift has been experienced in several areas of the city, including Garhi Shahu, Mall Road, Anarkali, Samanabad, Chowk Yatim Khana, Iqbal Town, Township, Johar Town, Thokar Niaz Baig, and Chungi Amar Sidhu.
With the drizzle continuing, temperatures are likely to remain low, with a minimum expected to drop to 9°C and a maximum forecasted at 16°C. The current temperature in Lahore has been recorded at 11°C, adding to the city’s chilly conditions.
The Meteorological Department has advised residents to brace for more rain, particularly in the afternoon and evening hours, which is expected to further intensify the cold.
