The Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) Anti-Human Trafficking Circle arrested three Bangladeshi sisters from Gulshan-e-Iqbal for fraudulently acquiring Pakistani identity cards.
The suspects, identified as Ayesha Naz, Hina Naz, and Afshan Naz, were wanted in a case registered in 2022.
Investigations revealed that the accused secured Pakistani ID cards through forgery and obtained fake birth and death certificates with the help of an agent.
Officials disclosed that the Secretary of the Union Council in Rizvia Society, Liaquatabad Town, issued these fraudulent certificates. Authorities have initiated further action to apprehend individuals involved in facilitating these illegal activities.
Additionally, investigators plan to probe the possible involvement of NADRA officials in this case. FIA continues its efforts to dismantle networks supporting such unlawful activities.
