Bushra Bibi, wife of PTI founder and former prime minister Imran Khan, has been granted interim bail in three cases linked to the party’s November 26 protest in Islamabad.
Duty Judge Shabbir Bhatti approved her bail until January 13, requiring surety bonds of Rs50,000 for each case during a hearing at the District and Sessions Court in Islamabad.
Accompanied by her legal team, Bushra appeared in court as hearings were held concerning four FIRs filed at Tarnol and Ramna police stations.
Earlier, on Saturday, an Anti-Terrorism Court in Rawalpindi granted Bushra interim bail in 32 additional cases related to the same protest. These cases were registered in various districts, including Rawalpindi, Attock, and Chakwal.
Bushra, along with Imran Khan and other PTI leaders, faces several cases, including one involving the deaths of three Rangers personnel during the November 26 protest, which aimed at securing Khan’s release.
