The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) negotiation team has been granted permission to meet their founder Imran Khan at Adiala Jail today. The meeting, scheduled for 2 PM, aims to brief him on the first round of discussions with the government and consult on future strategies.
This dialogue process, initiated earlier this week in Islamabad, follows months of heightened political tensions. Key representatives from both sides participated in the inaugural session to discuss significant political concerns.
The PTI delegation is set to present their demands in written form during the second round of talks in January.
These discussions are taking place in the backdrop of PTI’s announcement of a civil disobedience movement, demanding the release of political prisoners and the establishment of a judicial commission to investigate recent events.
