An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Rawalpindi has granted interim bail to Bushra Bibi, wife of former Prime Minister Imran Khan, in 32 cases until January 13
These cases are related to the November 26 protest and were registered in various police stations across Rawalpindi, Attock, and Chakwal.
During the hearing, Bushra Bibi was present in court and submitted the required surety bonds for her bail.
After the approval, she left the court premises, with her next appearance scheduled for mid-January.
This development comes amid ongoing legal challenges faced by PTI founder Imran Khan and the party’s central leadership.
Bushra Bibi and her husband are involved in multiple legal cases, including the new Toshakhana and £190 million cases.
In October, the Islamabad High Court granted her bail in the Toshakhana case; however, the court indicated that her bail could be revoked over failure to appear before the trial court.
Recently, Special Judge (Central) Shahrukh Arjumand issued her arrest warrant due to her absence from case hearings.
Earlier, an accountability court issued her non-bailable arrest warrant in the £190 million settlement case.
