Karachi: The price of gold in both global and local markets has once again soared to a historic high.
In the international bullion market, the price of gold per ounce increased by $11, reaching a new peak of $2,628.
Similarly, local gold markets have also witnessed record prices. On Tuesday, the price of 24-carat gold per tola rose by 1,100 rupees, reaching an unprecedented level of 273,000 rupees.
In local jewelry markets, the price for 10 grams of gold also climbed, increasing by 943 rupees to settle at a new high of 234,053 rupees.
In contrast to the continuous rise in gold prices, the price of silver per tola remains stable at 2,950 rupees, and the price for 10 grams of silver is unchanged at 2,529.14 rupees.
