The United States Department of State has reportedly notified countries that have signed the Board of Peace Charter. The notification was officially sent to the countries that have signed the charter, recognizing their membership in the organization. This move comes as Pakistan, along with several other countries, has joined the Board of Peace. Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, Turkey, Jordan, Egypt, Kuwait, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Hungary, Indonesia, Mongolia, Morocco, Paraguay, and Vietnam have all received the notification.
The US authorities stated that the purpose of the charter is to promote global peace and resolve conflicts peacefully. In a statement, a spokesperson for the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs claimed that Iran will maintain control over its airspace. Following the downing of an Iranian passenger plane and the withdrawal of its Green Card, Hamideh Suleimani and her daughter have been taken into custody.
