Karachi is in for a turbulent weather forecast as the Met Office has warned of a western low-pressure system that is likely to bring heavy rain and thunderstorms to the city on Tuesday. According to the system, Karachi can expect thunderstorms accompanied by rain on February 17, with a possibility of strong winds as well. The Met Office has also forecast that the system could affect visibility due to fog in the city.
Apart from Karachi, other areas in the province, including Dadu, Hyderabad, Tando, Badin, Jamshoro, Larkana, Jacobabad, and Khairpur, can also expect thunderstorms accompanied by rain in the evening and night of February 16 and 17. Most areas in the province are expected to experience a dry night with cold temperatures.
