Pakistani showbiz industry’s renowned and versatile actor, Ammar Rana, has shared his experiences of playing negative characters in his career. Ammar Rana started his career in theatre as an actor and director. Notable dramas featuring him include Pyar Ke Sadqe, Ishq-e-Merishad, Zan-e-Merid, Dil Nahin Omed To Nahin, and Sang-e-Mah. He played the role of the father of a famous actor, Bilal Abbas Khan, in the drama serial Pyar Ke Sadqe and Ishq-e-Merishad, which was highly appreciated by the audience. He has played the role of Bilal Abbas’s father in many popular dramas.
Recently, Ammar Rana participated in a podcast, where he discussed different topics and shared his experiences of playing the role of a father and grandfather in his early age. He said that once he met a fan in a private hotel, who asked him how he accepted the role of Bilal Abbas Khan’s father, as he could be taken as Bilal’s elder brother. Ammar Rana was impressed by the question. He shared another incident, saying that in a drama, he was playing the role of Leila Vasat’s husband and they had an adult daughter. In one scene, his daughter was in a state of panic, taking her to the hospital, and he was returning from the office. When he asked what was happening, she said that he would soon become a grandfather. He laughed out loud at this, as he was actually trying to understand the situation of being a grandfather.
