Pakistan Super League (PSL) teams are facing a significant blow as Bangladesh pacer Nahid Rana has decided against rejoining the tournament. According to sources, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) had extended Rana’s No Objection Certificate (NOC) for PSL until April 13. Rana, who represented Peshawar Zalmi in PSL, has been rested along with fellow fast bowlers Mustafizur Rahman and Tanzim Ahmed, who will lead the Bangladesh T20 team under Linton Das.
The sources revealed that Rana has not requested a fresh NOC for PSL, and the BCB will review the situation before making a decision. Mustafizur Rahman, however, has been granted a two-phase NOC, with the first phase expiring on April 12 and the second phase commencing on April 24 after the ODI series against New Zealand. He is currently a part of Lahore Qalanders in PSL and will remain available for the team until May 3.
