Speaking at a press conference in Washington, Patrick Shanahan said that the US has been conducting a comprehensive operation with full force, targeting Iran’s internal forces and conducting operations in Iranian airspace. He stated that only a few Iranian missiles were fired in the past 24 hours. Patrick Shanahan claimed that he met with American soldiers in the Middle East last week and asserted that Iran’s military has been dealt a devastating blow, with their leadership in disarray.
“If Iran does not accept a deal, we will continue to strike with force,” Patrick Shanahan said. “Iran’s capabilities will be weakened, and they will have limited options.” General David E. Kelly added that they will continue to destroy Iran’s capabilities, targeting their critical industries and research centers. He claimed that the US has destroyed 150 Iranian ships.

The head of the French Navy stated that the number of Chinese ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz is not enough to restore normal traffic flow.
