The federal government is facing intense pressure as various controversies and protests continue to unfold across the country. In a recent development, Minister for Kashmir Affairs, Engineer Amir Mahmood, expressed his concerns about the plight of people in Swat who are facing difficulties due to the ban on motor vehicles.
“The people of Swat are suffering due to the ban on motor vehicles,” Engineer Amir Mahmood said in an interview. “The government should take immediate action to alleviate their suffering. The people are facing hardships, and the situation is becoming increasingly dire.”
The minister also called for action against those responsible for the suffering of the people. “The government should register FIRs against those who are causing inconvenience to the people,” he said. “We should take action against the PTI workers who are involved in these activities.”
In a separate development, Senator Raja Nisar Abbas, the leader of the opposition in the Senate, has urged the government to negotiate with the protesters. “Until we meet with the government, the protests should continue,” he said.
