Peshawar University, a renowned institution of higher learning, witnessed a shocking incident of violence between two student groups. The tense situation led to a severe outbreak of gunfire, sending shockwaves throughout the university and its staff.
According to Commandant University Campus Police, a heated argument erupted between two student organizations, resulting in gunfire. Fortunately, no casualties were reported in the incident.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif visited the residence of the slain student, Aun Abbas, who lost his life while trying to prevent a self-made bomber. Sharif paid his respects to the victim and led a prayer session for the slain individuals.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman, the chief of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI), emphasized the need for a working relationship between the federal government and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to address the growing concerns.
