Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s PTI President Janid Akbar has announced his resignation from the party’s parliamentary seat, confirming his audio statement in which he said he would write to the Speaker today, requesting to be given a separate seat from PTI. In the party’s WhatsApp group, Janid Akbar sent a message saying that his endurance has come to an end, and from today, he will not be a part of the parliamentary committee, nor will he recognize the parliamentary leader or Chief Whip.
Janid Akbar said, “What kind of way is this? People are speaking every day, our honor is being misunderstood.” He confirmed his audio statement, saying, “My endurance has come to an end. I will no longer be a part of the parliamentary party, nor will I recognize the Chief Whip or the Parliamentary Leader.” Janid Akbar said, “I had spoken during Ramadan that I would like to speak about the budget, but I was not given the opportunity. We are not coming here to beg for food, a few people are always speaking on every matter.” He added, “What kind of Chief Whip is this, who decides who will speak every day? Is there a method or humanity among you people? What kind of way is this, that they will speak, and we will sit on the desk?”
Janid Akbar also said that no one has the courage to ask questions about terrorism in the Assembly, and that Mohsin Nawaz Khokhar, a member of the Assembly, did not attend the session. He said, “We do not have the courage to speak the truth and come to the Assembly every day, wearing a mask.”
Janid Akbar announced that he will no longer be a part of the parliamentary party from today and will not be a part of his people, saying, “I will move forward independently, and I will speak to the Speaker. I do not want to sit with you people anymore. I think my own people will not allow me to speak, they are all sycophants who do not allow us to speak.”
