The Palestinian Authority has invited 25 countries to the Gaza Peace Board meeting in Washington, scheduled for February 19. Pakistan’s Prime Minister, Shehbaz Sharif, is expected to attend the meeting.
According to credible sources, the upcoming meeting is set to discuss the current situation in Gaza, ceasefire agreements, human aid, and sustainable peace. The final decision on the Prime Minister’s participation is expected to be made within a few days.
The US President has already sent invitations to all 25 member countries. However, several European countries, including the UK, France, and Norway, have declined the invitation, terming the peace board a challenge to the United Nations.
Meanwhile, in a separate incident, a bomb blast in Islamabad has claimed the lives of several people. According to hospital sources, Ali Naqi Buzen, who was injured in the blast, passed away on February 8 after two days of treatment at a private hospital.
Pakistan’s Defense Minister, Khwaja Asif, stated that India will not dare to attack Pakistan again after its recent defeat.
