Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has praised the residents of Lahore for maintaining safety during the Basant festival. In a statement, Maryam Nawaz expressed her happiness that the people of Lahore have kept their trust in the government intact. She said that Lahore is now very happy, and so am I, as the people of Lahore played a significant role in ensuring a safe Basant celebration by following the rules and regulations.
According to Maryam Nawaz, the concept of a happy and safe Basant has been fully adopted in the city. She stated that the prescribed size and prescribed numbers were followed, and there were no reports of prohibited door decorations being used. The Chief Minister emphasized that the safety of the rooftops was ensured, and the transformers remained safe without the use of metal wires.
Maryam Nawaz also mentioned that 200 clinics and 21 field hospitals were deployed in every area. She urged the people to remain vigilant and not let their guard down. She also mentioned that Saudi Arabia’s Defense Exhibition in Riyadh, where 80 countries, including Pakistan, participated.
